Judges' Comments:

Very attractive depiction of Mauna Kea observatories and night sky. Hawaiian theme included surfboards and people using the telescope. Black background makes the artwork very attractive, and even includes satellites. (Tracy)

Excellent use of the entire poster area. Inclusion of satellites was realistic as they orbited around a Hawaiian-themed planet Earth. Depiction of Hawaiian culture with Mauna Kea was very neatly done. (Nancy)
